bonjour to our wedding!
AUGUST 24-27, 2026
CHATEAU DE VALLERY, VALLERY, FR
A 16th-century château rises out of the countryside, 90 minutes south of Paris. Renaissance stonework and grand salons frame the setting; a vaulted wine cellar waits below, a pool and rose gardens outside. Vineyards and ancient forests press in at the edges. This is where everyone gathers — a week of meals, music, and celebration within the château walls.
Scene: Burgundy, late summer, 2026.
“little town, it’s a quiet village…”

AIRFARE
We kindly ask guests to arrange their own flights and transportation to the Vallery/Sens area.
To make the most of the celebration, we recommend arriving in the larger Paris area no later than the morning of Monday, August 24. This will give you plenty of time to soak in the scenery on the way to Vallery before joining us for a welcome toast and dinner that evening.
ACCOMMODATIONS
There are a select number of rooms available at the Chateau. Information was sent within the Save the Date to those assigned a bedroom onsite. More information coming soon!
For the rest of our guests, we recommend The Epona Sens, a beautiful hotel just 20 minutes from Vallery. We’ll provide group transportation to and from all wedding events, so you can simply relax and enjoy your stay in the countryside.
Use code VALLERY5 at checkout for 5% off your stay.
Prefer to make your own plans? There are plenty of charming smaller hotels, Airbnbs, and B&Bs in Vallery and the surrounding countryside — perfect for turning the trip into your own little French getaway.
ITINERARY
We’ll share a full itinerary closer to next August, but for now, check out the sneak peek below!
MONDAY, AUGUST 24
ACT ONE: ARRIVAL
The curtain rises with the journey to the château — winding roads, first glimpses of the vineyards, and finally, through the gates. A glass in hand marks the start: a toast in the wine cellar followed by dinner together. Afterwards, the scene shifts poolside for a causal nightcap, easy conversation, and trivia under the stars, defeating jet lag one question at a time.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 25
ACT TWO: INTERLUDE
Act II begins with the option to venture offsite to Paris, the surrounding villages, or the local vineyards — the day is yours to explore. Meanwhile at the château, a BBQ lunch awaits for those staying local: food, drinks, and maybe a little soccer, tennis, or pong if the mood strikes. As the sun sets, a party gathers on the lawn with pizza in hand, settling in for a late-night movie.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26
ACT THREE: THE WEDDING
Act III takes place completely within the Château walls. The ceremony unfolds, and vows are exchanged. Dinner is served, followed immediately by dancing, dessert, and a poolside after-party. The night carries on open-ended, a celebration without a curtain call.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 27
THE EPILOGUE
Morning light, a table scattered with pastries, fruit, coffee, espresso. Not seated, not still — a passing of hugs and stories before departures, mid-morning goodbyes drifting into the next chapter. Another play, for another time.

YOUR PRESENCE IS THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL
We understand that traveling all the way to France isn’t so easy … oops! With that in mind, we have chosen to keep our registry small.
In lieu of a gift, you’re also welcome to make a donation to any of the following organizations in our name.
Thank you in advance for your love and support!

As of September 2025, you only need a valid passport, with an expiration date further than 3 months from your departure date.
But of course starting at some point in late 2026 (no official date listed anywhere), you will need to apply for European Travel Authorization. It’s really not very involved at all, just an annoying extra step. WIll keep this FAQ and all of you up to date on the latest regualtions!

We suggest flying into Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris!
From there, you can either drive - it’s a 90-minute car ride with the majority of the trip being on a single highway - or take the train! Trains from Paris Bercy Bourgogne Station are about 55-minutes direct to Sens and operate once every hour.
If you’ve already been vacationing elsewhere in France (go you!) … you’re on your own! Ask google maps :)

We kindly ask that you arrange your own flights and transportation to the Vallery/Sens area.
If any larger caravans are planned and scheduled closer to, we will make sure to share!

In anticipation of our wedding celebration in France, we kindly request your early indication of attendance. This is not a formal RSVP, but rather a preliminary response to assist us in coordinating accommodations and travel planning.
Please let us know your early indication by October 15, 2025 by clicking here.

Formal Answer: As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be exclusively for adults. To the few parents on the guest list, we hope you enjoy the chance to relax, celebrate, and make a little getaway for yourselves!
Short Answer: No.

Fingers crossed we have beautiful weather all week, we will be outside!
Thinking about shoes, there are gravel walkways and uneven paths, as well as large grassy areas - stilettos are not recommended!

Have you met me? Don’t worry, there will be much more information here very soon.

Yes, yes, we know the majority of you only care about a dog sighting but unfortunately, we are spending all our money on this wedding and do not have the funds to fly him to and from France. He will be home, sleeping 22 hours a day and licking his paws the other 2.
